[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: 1.Zone = n.Smaller Zones



Dear Mário Neves,

  You can do model and create thermal zones without physically be connected. When you modelling an building or some partial of this building, becareful, and look at the fields of BuildingSurfaces. Because you must take into account the boundary conditions (adiabatic, OtherConditionsCoeficientts) of any object (wall, roof, ceilling..) when you assign an isolated zone from others.

  Anyway if you want the documentation Engineering Reference and Input / Output documents are a good compilation to learn more about this question, but I hope what I said about the modelling help you!
