I know that E+ accounts for thermal bridging in glazed units.
Does anyone know how E+ accounts for 'edge losses', for example where a floor slab meets a wall and different locations can be specified for the insulation.
In Europe 'linear thermal transmittance' is popular, where an extra loss, proportional to the edge length and depending on the construction, is applied to the surface heat balance. I've had a look at the Engineering Reference but haven't found anything that seems to be applicable.
Many thanks,
David.
