As far As I know E+ doesn’t
introduce this “intersection walls” effect.
The user must introduce it
Linear thermal bridges can be introduced
in the following approach:
Introducing “small surfaces” (the
same length , l, than thermal bridge and small width, w) defined as type “door”
in “Fenestration: Surface Detailed object”.
The construction for this “virtual
door” can be defined as only one layer construction using “Material:
No mass object”, the thermal resistance for this “virtual material”
must be recalculated in order to obtain the same thermal transmission

The Spanish CYPE interface introduces
linear thermal bridges in this approach.

Thermal bridging and edge effects
I know that E+ accounts for thermal bridging in glazed
units.
Does anyone know how E+ accounts for 'edge losses', for example where a floor
slab meets a wall and different locations can be specified for the insulation.
