Hi Drury I downloaded the transition files to preprocess/multiple transition.I extracted the zip file.

 

I selected  utilities/IDFconverter then I selected my own file. And pressed run idf converter

But it didn't work. There is a message as

 

Missing transition files. Missing transition batch file - C:/eNERGYPLUS 5/pREPROCESS/Multiple taransition/runstartstop transition........Download files from the site you recommended.

how can I solve it?

Go to the EnergyPlus HelpDesk web site and download the Transitions zip file. It contains a program which which will automatically transition your files from any version up to the current version:  http://energyplus. helpserve. com/index. php?_m=downloads&_a=viewdownload&downloaditemid= 49&nav=0

Hi I cannot open the files which I created with Energyplus 2.2, with new version Ep 5. When I change the lines with the sentences got from IO book, the errors disappear.
