Sounds as if you unzipped the files into a directory.  Then you went in and double-clicked on IDFConverter.exe to start it. 

 

Does the directory contain (in addition to the IDFConverter.exe), a series of CSVs  (Report Variables x-x-x to y-y-y.csv), several batch files (RunFullTransition.bat, RunStartStopTransition.bat) and a series of .exes (Transition-Vx-x-x-to-V-y-y-y.exe) along with the IDDs for all versions (V1-0-0-0-Energy+.idd through V5-0-0-Energy+.idd)?

Hi I cannot open the files which I created with Energyplus 2.2, with new version Ep 5. When I change the lines with the sentences got from IO book, the errors disappear. It worked for for example shadowing calculations, etc but it didn't work for, for example, zone capacitance multiplier. And I don't have any idea for some of them to change what with.
