Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] opening file



I succeeded to convert.  When I enter run idf converter from the transition folder, it converts but, from the program  interface I couldn't do. Thank you very much

Sounds as if you unzipped the files into a directory.  Then you went in and double-clicked on IDFConverter. exe to start it. 
 
Does the directory contain (in addition to the IDFConverter. exe), a series of CSVs  (Report Variables x-x-x to y-y-y.csv), several batch files (RunFullTransition. bat, RunStartStopTransit ion.bat) and a series of .exes (Transition- Vx-x-x-to- V-y-y-y.exe) along with the IDDs for all versions (V1-0-0-0-Energy+ .idd through V5-0-0-Energy+ .idd)?

Go to the EnergyPlus HelpDesk web site and download the Transitions zip file. It contains a program which which will automatically transition your files from any version up to the current version:  http://energyplus. helpserve. com/index. php?_m=downloads&_a=viewdownload&downloaditemid= 49&nav=0

Hi I cannot open the files which I created with Energyplus 2.2, with new version Ep 5. When I change the lines with the sentences got from IO book, the errors disappear.
