[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: Why the generators stop working when selected "Follow Thermal"

Hello Brent,

I did some changes as follows:
I have tried to replace the Generator:MicroCHP with a Generator:Combustion rated at 10kW based on the MicroCoGeneration.idf file. So the generator is already on the supply side of the plant loop. The simulation result is: When the generator is selected as "Base Load", electrical output is 10kW, and also some thermal output come up with it. However, When the generator is selected as "Follow Thermal", again the electrical and thermal output go down to zero.
I could not find how to upload my file, can you let me know your email, so I can send to you my file.

Thank you very much!
Best,
Peng

The MicroCHP unit is currently providing around 50% of the total heating load (generator operation scheme: follow thermal), but I want the MicroCHP unit provide 100% heating load. Because the Generator:MicroCHP is not normalized, I can not simply increase its capacity from current 5kW to 10kW, so I added another MicroCHP unit working parallel with the first one. But the simulation result is: the total thermal output of
