Can you run the simulation on more than one building at a time? If so, how? We want to create a neighborhood that we can simulate and see the effects as we change certain parameters.

Yes.  you can run the simulation on a campus but need to put in building parameters for each building -- I would suggest very simple models of the buildings.

Or read about the Plant Load Profile object.  (LoadProfile:Plant is the object name)

How do you incorporate HVAC systems into idf file so that when you run Energy Plus it includes the information in the data it runs?

Look at the HVACTemplate objects -- they are probably your easiest introduction.

You should also look at the Getting Started document and run through the tutorials that are there.

How do you go from the idf file to an idc file? Ultimately how do you import the information from Energy Plus into an autodesk revit file?

There is no tool in the EnergyPlus group/team that does this  -- not sure if any third party has attempted this.  One of the outputs you can get from EnergyPlus, though, is a DXF file or a VRML file -- if that helps.

Someone in the team is working on a radiance output files from IDF.

You can also use the OpenStudio application if there are any plugins like you want -- OpenStudio reads in IDF files -- from there you could perhaps export to other formats.
