With FullInteriorAndExterior the program calculates the solar radiation that is absorved by the actual surfaces that are sunlit. And there are serias restictions to zone geomatry(See IOR). In FullExterior all the solar radiation is assumed to "shine"/fall on the floor.

In termos of exterior conditions, both, take into acount building shading and obsticals.
