[EnergyPlus_Support] Modelling combination of Desiccant dehumidification and evaporative cooling using wet pads (PDEC)

Hi,

I am a MSc student from the University of Nottingham, UK. Am in the final stage of first part of my dissertation and need some help on the modelling aspect of my system.

I am trying to propose a combination of Desiccant dehumidification and evaporative cooling using wet pads (PDEC) as an alternate to the conventional domestic (1-2 ton) Air Conditioning unit in hot-humid climate for a typical dwelling unit.

In this system, I have the supply air flown through inside an overhead water tank, to a desiccant rotary wheel and then to a cooling tower with wet pads insie, and the air is then flown into the space because of the downdraught.

I have read a paper presented in the IBPSA conference on the usse of Energyplus in modelling a PDEC system. Apart from it, I am reading on the capabilities of Energy plus to model the desiccant rotary wheel. Am also uploading a supporting image to explain the system. Can I get some help/suggestions in the kind of model, zones and components that I should make, Energyplus capabilities to model such a system?

Thank you very much
