[EnergyPlus_Support] Trouble displaying summaries using Output:Table:SummaryReports

Hello All,

I have a model of a house that uses an HVAC system (electric heating and cooling) with a thermostat setpoint schedule, among other things. I know that the HVAC system operates, as it is maintaining all of the rooms at their desired temperature setpoints.

I added UtilityCost:Tariff and UtilityCost:Charge:Simple objects to report the electricity used on the HVAC system. In my code, the Output:Table:SummaryReports object is specified to include AllSummary, AnnualBuildingUtilityPerformanceSummary, and LightingSummary.

When I view the HTML Output table, I see a "Tariff Report" for the Electricity Tariff that I specified and an Economics Results Summary Report for the Entire Facility.

This is what I want. But when I click on these, it says that all my charges and electricity used are 0.

When I scroll through the rest of the HTML Output tables, I see that most (but not all) values in the tables are zero. For example, the tables show the construction parameters of the house, such as house area, and the parameters of the heating/cooling coils and fans, such as air flow rate and design load. It also gives me "Time Temperature Setpoints Not Met," "Time Not Comfortable based on ASHRAE55," and some other tables, but it does not seem to think that any electricity is being used.

At the top of the output table, there is a line reading "Values gathered over 0.00 hours." I am wondering if the output table is not correctly reflecting the values of the entire simulation.

I tried this with a sizing period of just a few days, and another of an entire year, and I got the same kind of results for both.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks so much!
