[EnergyPlus_Support] Zone without walls

Hello.

Let's assume that there is a simple building contains 5 zone, south/east/north/west perimeter and core zone.

I modelled that using DesignBuilder, and drew internal partitions using virtual partitions.

When I export that model to idf and check with OpenStudio,  it demonstrates 5 zones completely but

there is no internal partitions in idf. Of course it's very natural because I used virtual partition, however,

what I want to know is heat balance between that zones. There is no internal partitions between zones, like

core and south or east. If there is no internal partitions(walls), how can energy or heat balance be calculated?
