When you tell the program that the interior wall is an
adiabatic wall, then it uses the properties (storage included) in the
calculation for the zone the wall is in, but assumes that the zone
adjacent to that zone is of the same conditions/temperature so does not
calculate the heat transfer through the wall to affect the adjacent
zone.
