RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] DHW system pipe network

Hello all,

Is it possible to run a building simulation for a month or year and then view the duty cycle data (e.g. on 40% of the time, off 60% of the time, etc) for the DX cooling coils on an hour-by-hour basis?

Regards,

Max

Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] DHW system pipe network

Hello all,

I am trying to model heat loss through a domestic hot water pipe system. Essentially, I am trying to model different lengths of hot water piping going to different end uses.

The E+ I/O reference states that heat transfer cannot be modeled on the demand side due to simulation constraints (I also got an error when I tried to use the pipe:indoor object in the network which worked fine with the pipe:adiabatic object).

Is there a way to model this?

Thanks,
Vrushali
