As a test, take the DaylightingDeviceTubular.idf example
file, change the map to tab and run (it's a very short run
time).

The map.tab file is created but I don't think the EP-Launch knows how to
open it.  So, pressing on the map button may not open a
file?

I have to move your other file into our development version to get a
reasonable run time.
