I noticed that no one has responded to your earlier request. I think you need the Air Flow Network in order to operate on a door or window opening schedule. There is an example file to show you how to define the cracks, windows and doors and the five outdoor air conditions surrounding the building (Roof, N, E,S, W directions) and how to respond to the external wind velocity To simulate injection of fresh air at a constant rate, the zone ventilation object can be linked to the occupancy schedule to vary the amount of air flow. ZoneVentilation:DesignFlowRate is part of the AFN, but seems to work on a zone without using the AFN. In this case, the air flow does not depend on the wind velocity and has no specific air flow location through the walls. The zone heat load and humidity would change. With AFN, the air actually flow through the cracks, windows and doors as specified. The flow can be betwen zones as well. Which input object can I use to define window opening so as to reflect user behaviour in a room? I am trying to do a bit of sensitivity analysis on opening windows in air-conditioned by occupants.
Thank you.
