[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: Open windows in EnergyPlus

How does one correlate occupation schedules (which are fractional or max occupation in zone) to door / window open/close (1/0) operations. Modulation (for windows), which is Tin Toudoor dependant, does not account for human usage patterns for doors.

If I specify doors open 5% of the time, which energy plus simulates random opening and closing of doors to give an aggregate opening time = 5% of the total occupation time, 5% is still a WILD GUESS.

A school differs from a kindergarten from an office...where do I find stats on this?
