Hi Xavier,

This error pops when the cooling capacity and EIR modifying curves for temperature are not valid for the AHRI reduced test condition required for computing the Standard Ratings Parameters such as SEER, EER and IEER.  For example, the IEER calculation require evaluating these curves at reduced dry bulb temperature, say as low as 18.3 deg C. If your curves are not valid for the dry bulb temperature range test conditions required, then E+ generates this error message.  Check if your curve coefficients are valid for the dry bulb temperatures stated in AHRI standard for IEER evaluation.

Regarding your simulation results, so long as the curve coefficients in your IDF file have not changed, then your simulation results will also remain the same.

Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] new warnings when updating from v5.0.0.031 to v5.0.0.35

Hi,
When updating from v5.0.0.31 to v5.0.0.35 the following new warning showed up:
** Warning ** One of the Standard Ratings for Coil:Cooling:DX:SingleSpeed = FURNACE_PACU_CAV_1:1_UNITARY_PACKAGE_COOLCOIL could not be calculated, so set to zero in output.
I guess it has no effect on the results of the simulation, but is there any explanation for this new warning showing up?
Thanks,
