[EnergyPlus_Support] single zone building

Hello,

1) If my building is a single zone building, is it still necessary to enter the surfaces which are between two different rooms but belonging to same zone

2) How do we guess how many zones a building should have, like my building is supposed to be maintained at same temperature throughout so should it be a single zone building even if the loads are different for different rooms
