Vinay,

If you see surface with ReverseSurface definition with some ID in it, then the ID will drect you to its reverse surface. Otherwise this surface is connected to external environment.

I don't think that will save much time. And I don't think you can do anything about it. I would think about shrink the zones number or increase time step or buy a faster computer :-)

I remember that E+ duplicates the construction surfaces in reverse order (in older versions) when the model was exported from DesignBuilder. I would like to know if it still does that?

If yes, how is it possible to identify the duplicate surfaces listed in the IDF? (previously got to know that E+ doesn't require them actually).

Would doing this help me reduce simulation time?
