The schedule is there for your use and can be used to control infiltration if you have a good understanding of how infiltration affects your building. For example, if the HVAC system brings in large amounts of outside air the building will be positively pressurized. At these times, infiltration will be reduced or eliminated. Scheduling off infiltration at these times is usually a good approximation.
