No...I'm not using anything specific in their interface.  I will use the program just as it comes out of the box. 
 
The list of qualified software shows eQuest which is a "front-end" software program that generates the inputs for DOE-2.2.  SInce Design Builder is also a "front-end" software program for energy plus, I was thinking that it might also be listed just as eQuest is listed.  I felt that it was better to ask than to assume.

Since EnergyPlus is qualified, it should not matter about design builder unless you are using something specific in their interface?
