1. I’d guess there is one or more bypass pipes that get some of the flow and explain why they aren’t the same. 2. That heat transfer is driven by the operation of the plant equipment inside the building and that has not changed with a different borehole field. You should see some significant differences in loop operating temperatures, but not necessarily that heat transfer rate because nothing much has changed on the demand side of the loop.
