Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Solar fassade

Hugo,

You can simulate such a system using the airflow network objects. create an independent zone that corresponds to the air gap, and set up the openings of the gap with the same family of objects. check the example files using airflow network to get yourself started.

Hi
I'm a master degree student and I'm trying to simulate a simple version of a solar fassade, which consists in a simple layer of glass covering a wall, with an air gap in between. This air gap is open, above and below, in the summer for natural ventilation. At first I tried to simulate this with another zone (the air gap), using the exterior natural vented cavity, but then I realized that this supposed a baffle, whose characteristics are not the same as simple glass. Is it possible to simulate this situation?
Thank you
