[EnergyPlus_Support] What's the difference between"contorller" and"zone hvac control and thermostat"

What's the difference between"contorller" and"zone hvac control and thermostat".

Can they do the samething?

As we know, a thermostat can compare the setpoint and zone temperature, then control the flow through coils to maintain zone setpoint.

But why there is no actuator variable(such as "flow") in "thermostat" definition while there is acutator in "controller:watercoil"

If you use controller to control the space temperature, why there is no temerature schedule?

Please help me to better understand E+ structure.
