Draw your ellipses as section cuts through the height as guide objects, you will have to choose appropriate simplification heights.
Choose some points on the ellipses and connect with triangles as Eplus objects. You are then in control of all surfaces generated.
Oh yes, you will need to blend the base into the flat roof with triangles/parallelograms…
