In a case of a large open plan office I would like to find out the variations of temperatures across space. In order to do that, I need to set up more zones. However, the boundaries between the zones would not be real (there is no physical walls or partitions between the zones). If I try to erase the surfaces that enclose the zone, I get a warning that less than 6 surfaces might lead to an incorrect calculation of heat balance. Is there an alternative way to simulate the lack of boundary between two zones?

I'm looking for a way to model a void between two zones.
What are the options for specifying a surface as a void?
Are there any suggestions?
