It is very simple. Use the template to create your Heat Pump system for the zone, with an OA mixer. The zone fresh air intake can be controlled. After it is running properly, estimate how much heat you can recover from the relief air node of the OA mixer. If it is worth while, add the heat exchanger object manually using the expIDF. My hunch is that there is very little heat or cool that can be recovered from the OA relief node. Economizer mode is the way to go. ============================= Since you have only one zone, the heat pump can be treated as a zone or system equipment. The second air loop is not required. I'm not a very experienced user, but what i would like to do is to implement an HVAC Template (Heat Pump Air To Air) in a zone and, in the same zone, a Heat Recovery system (Heat exchanger) which ensure the zone the air exchange.
Is it possible make that directly with the HVAC Template Objects? or can i integrate an HVAC Template with a system "created by the user"? or I can not use the HVAC Template at all.
