It could be done using EMS. There is an actuator for ZoneVentilation called Air Exchange Flow Rate. Should be fairly straightforward with a sensor based on the zone mean radiant temperature and some simple logic. From: EnergyPlus_Support@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:EnergyPlus_Support@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Ery Mailing-List Folks, I tried to do night flush by using zone ventilation object. Using this object the airflow is controlled by the zone air temperature and outside air temperature. What I found is that in many cases the airflow is shut-off because the zone air temperature is low, but the surface temperature is still higher. I would like the thermal mass to be flushed until the surface temperature is low enough. I want the airflow to be controlled by the surface temperature rather than zone air temperature. Is there a way to do this, other than trial and error by lowering the zone temperature?
