[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: Running EnergyPlus simulation using the Dos Prompt Box

Thank you so much, Dr. Li and Linda for your insightful comments. As a matter of fact I got it to run, simply by downloading the new interim release of EnergyPlus.

The problem, I reckon was that I was missing the Energy+.idd upon installation of version 6.0.0.23. I uninstalled it and tried installing it again yet I could not find Energy+.idd in the root folder. So I downloaded the interim version as Linda recommended. The interim version installs with Energy+.idd in the root folder.

So far it seems to work. Now I just need to call the input file from Matlab and see if it runs smoothly.

Thank you both for you comments and help.

Sincerely yours'
Niraj Poudel

I have attached an image of what I have changed in the "RunEplus.bat" file and the error that resulted from running the program as well. I tried to attach the image file on the group support but it seems like we arent allowed to attach image files therefore I am writing to you directly. I hope that is okay.
