[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: EMS actuator for opening of windows



I don't know exactly, but I don't think so because you have to define the windows one by one already in the AFN. May be you can reduce the number by model simplification (e.g. if one zone in reality has 5 windows same orientation  - reduce to one widow with sum size). Or only simulate one representative floor instead of all floors and than multiply. Also check E+ multiplication factors and adiabatic surfaces to simplify your model. I think there is also some guideline how to simplify models availible (may be I have seen iton the designbuilder webguides). good luck
