Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] HVAC Node Flow Chart

I like to build a node diagram in AutoCAD or even powerpoint while I am building the loops.

See attached.

Also, I've found that it helps to name a node depending on the equipment that it is following, ie,  AHU-1 Cooling Coil Outlet, AHU-1 Heating Coil Outlet, AHU-1 Supply Fan Outlet and so on

Hey everybody,

I am currently getting more and more into EnergyPlus but I am having a heck of a time trying to keep the nodes straight for the HVAC systems. Is there any sort of flow chart or tutorial that gives good examples of how to plot nodes before you begin modeling to decrease the time needed for debugging?

Thank you,
