We found most problems from this message are from network connection. Figure 79 in the Input Output Reference is a good example to build a network. In addition, each zone should have two surfaces with leakage components to be exposed to two different boundary conditions.

After double-checking the network connection and the same message still occurs, you may adjust field values listed in the message. These fields are in the AirflowNetwork:SimulationControl. For example, you may increase the values of convergence tolerance.

If you still have the same problem, please upload the input file and associated weather file. We may take a look.

Hope this helps.

Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] problem with air network

Hi,
I am trying to simulate a complex building with  a AirflowNetwork to calculate the ventilation due to an attrium.

when I am trying to run this AirflowNetwork I get this error
** Severe ** Too many iterations (SOLVZP) in Airflow Network simulation
** Warning ** AirflowNetwork: SOLVER, Changing values for initialization flag, Relative airflow convergence, Absolute airflow convergence, Convergence acceleration limit or Maximum Iteration Number may solve the problem.

any help with this ???

Thanks
