[EnergyPlus_Support] Water to Air HP variable speed fan

Hello,

I would like to simulate a water to air heat pump system with a variable speed supply/return fan. I am aware that the Unitary:HeatPump:WaterToAir system does not allow the use of Fan:VariableVolume.

Is there any way I can work my way to using a variable speed fan?

I am hinting it might be possible to mimic a Variable speed fan by using Fan:OnOff along with its Fan Power Ratio funtion of Speed Ratio Curve name and Fan Efficiency Ratio Function of Speed Ratio Curve name function fields. Has anyone used this before to incorporate something similar? Are there any example files that describe the operation?

Thank you.

Vinay
