I am meeting difficulties with modeling an HVAC system with Energy Plus. In that system, the air is taken outside, it exchanges energy with a water coil (hot or cold water comes from a ground heat Exchanger), goes through an Heat Exchanger (air to air) to be warmed by the exhaust air (no mix!), finally passes through another coil linked to an hot water storage (warmed with electricity) to complete the heating. Then this air is split in order to be distributed in a bedroom and in the living room. Exhaust air is taken in the toilets and in the bathroom before to pass through the Heat Exchanger , warming the entering air.
I added a file with a diagram of this HVAC system : Diagram_HVACsystem_Xavier
I have different questions linked to this problem :
-I decided not to use an Air Loop because exhaust air is never recycled but maybe I should use it and control Outside Air fraction fixed to 100% ?
-In order to permit air to go from the bedroom and living room to the toilets and bathroom, do I really need to use an Airflow Network or is there another solution?
Could someone help me ?
