Thanks Karen.

I have seen the same thing happen when the terminal unit is a 4-pipe fan coil.  I'm not sure if it happens with other systems.  I believe it is the subject of a bug-fix for the next round of Energy+.

I have also found that the hourly results reporting for loop loads is a little misleading.  The hourly loop loads seem to be based on the difference between the loop setpoint temperature and the current temperature, and not the actual heat transferred by the loop.  If you want to know how much heat your loop is transferring, I suggest calculating it based on the flowrate and inlet and outlet temperatures.

Hello,

I have heat demand in both chilled water loop and hot water loop. I'm not expecting the heat demand in chilled water loop. My hvac map .svg file has the correct connection. Any one know why there is heating demand in chilled water loop? Attached is the hvac map generated from energyplus. Thanks a lot,

Regards,
Qianmin
