[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: Where can I find the Temperature of the surface of the walls



Sorry for the guessing, I'm not at my computer.

When you output the report variable dictionary, you get an .rdd file that lists all the output variables availible in your simulation.

I don't know the exact text but it's something like Output:VariableDictionary:Report

The Variables are listed something like

HVAC, Average, Plant Load, [W]

to output a variable you must put it into your idf
and run the simulation...something like

Output:Variable,*,Plant Load,hourly; 
!- this is an HVAC variable, it is AVERAGED over one hour
!- units are [W]
!- the * is a wildcard character and is useful when you don't know the exact name of 
!- the object or want to output all objects
!- Sometimes the object is a zone or a node or a equipment, etc.
