It will only run the periods you have specified in RunPeriod
objects.

In this case, if I also have chosen:

        Yes, !- Do the plant sizing calculation

E+ also will run my own desing days defined in the IDF file.

For that, if my own design days in the IDF are the same that the design days in the weather file, E+ is simulating several times the same days.

It will use the SizingPeriod:* objects to determine sizing but will not
"run" them (and produce simulation results).  There are
SizingPeriod objects that will select days from the weather
file.
