Dear Eplus users,
I am trying to set up a constant heat flux through the floor. So I have tried two different methods to approach this issue.
a)First Method: I set up the object OtherSideCoefficients and set the Combinet Convective/Radiative Film to Zero and a constant temperature of 20 degrees.
b)Second Method: I set the Site:GroundTemperature:BuildingSurface for all months to 20 degrees.
I am basically tying to tell EnergyPlus that the floor's exterior surface is always in contact with a 'surface' that is at 20 degrees.
I run the simulation for both the cases and get different results.
With the first method, I get the results to be more or less 3 degrees less than the second method. Could anyone help me with this issue. Arent I supposed to get the same results?
Thanking you,
Niraj Poudel
