[EnergyPlus_Support] Daylighting through a Wall vs Window
Hey All,
Could someone please confirm or deny that in order for daylighting potential to be included in Daylighting:Controls, the daylighting source can only come from a Window construction type, and not from a Exterior Wall or Roof construction type.
For instance, what if you were to have a translucent glass block? I was able to go in and create my own material with visible transmittance of .2 (ie visible absorptance of .8). Then with an exterior wall construction of just glass block, there is no Daylighting Illumination at my Reference points.
