Dear energyplus group,
I would be grateful if someone can help me. I have created a zone in ecotect which has a large window facing south. In december 21 at certain times of the day the solar radiation enter the zone and hit the floor which is a thermal mass element (concrete). I would like to know what happen if part of the concrete are is cover by an element, I would like to look at how this may affect the internal peak time temperatures of the room. Therefore I would like to insert in the energy plus model percentage of that floor cover by shading (manually). Does anyone know if this is possible to do in energyplus? and if the answer is yes, how could it be done? If anyone has an example will be appreciate.
Thanks
Looking forward hearing from you
