[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: AFN cracks on partition sub-surfaces



Thank you for the reply.In general I would do this.  Sometimes I split thermal zones to reflect different lighting or population profiles. In this case, it was important in seperating a regularly occupied zone from a irregularly occupied corridor for a daylighting simulation which counts compliant square footage of only regularly occupied spaces. What ever, there will be cases where zone splitting is reqired using an IR transparent "wall" with a perfectly clear "window" on it which is open to vent. The question of flow coeff. will remain to be answered for the AFN model.
