Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Re: Air Flow Mixing





I'm tryng to simulate an industrial process (the second airflow is coming from another zone of the factory that is dedicated to a different process).
I also thought about defining a second zone with controlled temperature and humidity and to mix the two fluxes...but I'm not sure it is possible to mix two fluxes coming from separate air systems, I've never seen examples like this.
Do you think it'is possible?

Energy Plus calculates the exhaust air conditions. You may be able to use an EMS to overwrite these conditions before the variable is passed on, but I don't know if it's possible. Not all internal variables are available to change, and when you change them is also a big question.

In my opinion this would be opening a can of worms.

What is your end goal? What are you trying to achieve or investigate?
