You might also try:
· A file comparison program such as WinMerge
· Keeping notes about each file or adding comments to each file regarding their special features

I have a problem that when I don't use my idf file for sometime, I forgot what is the modifications I have done between my idf files. Does IDF Editor provide a way to compare many idf files?
