[EnergyPlus_Support] Degenerate Surface Errors in EP6.0 to EP7.0 transition

The following error is caused after Transition from EP6 to EP7. Do any one else also had the same experience? Are there some more stringent topology check added in EP7 then earlier versions? and finally what can be done to remove this.

   ** Severe  ** GetSurfaceData: There are 13 degenerate surfaces; Degenerate surfaces are those with number of sides < 3.
