Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] Potential issue with EvaporativeCooler:Direct:ResearchSpecial object in EPv7 ???

Hello,

Since I use EPv7, I have remarked some very strange behaviour regarding EvaporativeCooler:Direct:ResearchSpecial object.

Basically, such evaporative cooler, placed in an AirLoop, does not respect its associated set point.
To be more precise, when the setpoint is below the wetbulb temperature of the inlet node, the evapcooler seems to work properly. But when the setpoint is between the wetbulb and drybulb temperatures, I obtain "random" numbers for the outlet drybulb temperature...

I also noticed that the following warning is raised and seems to be linked with this issue:
** Warning ** Given Wet Bulb Temperature invalid (PsyWFnTdbTwbPb)
   **   ~~~   **  Routine=Unknown, Environment=PERIODE SIMU, at Simulation time=06/27 05:12 - 05:14
   **   ~~~   **  Dry-Bulb= 16.50 Pressure= 100427.00
**   ~~~   ** Calculated Wet-Bulb= 17.00 ... Since Dry Bulb < Wet Bulb, Wet Bulb set = to Dry Bulb

If I revert back to EPv6, the issue disappears and the previous warning is not raised.

Maybe it is a known issue? Could you please update me about it or h
