It sums up the area of the surfaces that are designated to be a “floor.”  It is up to the user to describe the floor geometry in a way that is consistent with their preferred definition for floor area.

Thanks for your explaination, Linda.
This means that E+ sums up all floor areas enclosed by the exterial walls outer surface including area occupied by partition walls because they don't have width in the simulation?
