[EnergyPlus_Support] Phase Change Materials showing surface temp change but no energy savings
Dear Energy Plus Users,
I have been experimenting with re-creating the research publication titled
Application of Phase Change Material in Buildings: "Field Data vs.
EnergyPlus Simulation"
by Karthik Muruganantham (see attached)
My goal is to replicate the results of a experimental test facility that
used a baseline shed and shed with a bio based PCM material in the walls,
floor and ceiling.
The problem is that the baseline and bioPCM buildings show the same energy
use, and I am unsure why.
It seems like the interior surface temperatures would reduce energy and
