Hello all,
I am now doing a LEED simulaiton with E+. Based on G3.1.2.8, I shall model return fans in the baseline case, since return fans exist in my proposed case. In equest it can be checked and achieved easily.
Per G3.1.2.8 ".... If return or relief fans are specified in the proposed design, the baseline building design shall also be modeled with fans serving the same functions and sized for the baseline system supply fan air quantity less the minimum outdoor air, or 90% of the supply fan air quantity, whichever is larger."
Does anybody enlight me how I can generate the return fans through the HVACtemplate :system:VAV? It seems I could not achieve it, and only supply fans are generated in the expidf file.
Else should I hard wire the nodes somehow according to an example file? If you know this file I would appreciate you point it out.
