[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: ZoneVentilation:DesignFlowRate



There are different "exhaust" type objects. 

The "Ventilation" type object, from memory, make up the air one to one as you say. 

The fan:zoneexhaust does not and when using it you must supply the "make up air" with either one of the many "Ventilation" objects (which include infiltration objects) or in conjunction with AFN objects (which is better, because if the fan rate changes the flowrates will adjust in the AFN to balance the flows, where as with a fixed flowrate ventilation object, you are going to get lots of warnings about unbalanced airflows.)
